in 744 Brilliant Silver Metallic this Convertible has covered only just
over 47,000 miles from new. We supplied this SL to the last owner in
March 2006 at 36,915 miles and, due to relocation, we now have the
pleasure of offering her for sale once again. This is a V6 model SL 320
with 231 Black Nappa upholstery and has the fitted factory extras of a
Panoramic hard-top, heated front seats and 18” AMG five-spoke light
alloy wheels, perhaps the three best extras available at the time. This
would have elevated the cost when new to over £ 56,000. There are seven
service stamps in the maintenance manual, the most recent being at
45,305 miles in November of last year; currently there are 8,800 miles
to cover before the next service, an ‘A’ service, is due. The standard
specification comprises power assisted steering, a five-speed electronic
automatic transmission, electric seats, rear seats, remote locking,
electric window and soft-top, ABS and BAS, ESP – electronic stability
program or traction control, a rain-sensing wiper, luxury climate
control, and more. We have previous MOT certificates amongst the
comprehensive paperwork, spare key and a full set of accompanying hand
books. For the last four years this SL 320 has been in the care of a
thorough-going Mercedes Benz enthusiast who, above all, appreciates the
detail in record keeping and prompt servicing. As such there are fewer
models available on the market that can have been as well looked after
as this one. At this modest price this V6 Convertible is surely
exceptional value when compared to its newer cousins, especially when
taking into account the Panoramic hard-top, and promises a great future
for anyone considering open-top motoring.
